Activities

Whether you come here in the summer or in the winter, there are things you can do. Come enjoy the land we grew up on, and do what we did growing up. Hike the trails, climb the mountain, hunt waterfalls, take boat tours, site see, or just sit back and watch the stunning sunsets, and end the day with local food and entertainment.

Walk to the base or go all the ways and climb the Gros Morne mountain. (2 hours one way to the base or 5-7 hours round hike to the top and back to the parking lot)

Bonne Bay is a 10 minute drive where you can hop on a boat tour, access water sports, and sometimes go whale watching.

Western Brook Boat Tour is one of the most popular things to do when staying the the National Park. Boat through the fjord formed by two glaciers while watching waterfalls and hearing folk tales.

Visit the Lobster Head Lighthouse, sit on our round stone beach, walk to the end of the cove or walk out your cabin door to watch amazing sunsets.

Hike various trails, visit the site of S.S Ethie wreckage (read the story about the Newfoundland dog saving a baby in a mail bag), hunt waterfalls, and much more.

Eat local food, fresh caught seafood, have a coffee on the water, take in local entertainment, get screeched in, and life life a Newfy.

Its a small town, we know everyone, and everything - we will point you in the right direction for anything you want to do.
