About Us
A story of making our home, your home for your vacation.
When you check into our accommodations, you are standing in the home we began our life together in, where we raised our four children, and had many Sunday dinners at the table.
My husband Lloyd built our home (now the main office) with his own hands - as many people did back in the day. Even though we left for the Fort McMurray boom in the 70s, this was always our home. When our kids grew up and started their own lives, we retired back to the house we started everything in - we asked ourselves "what will we do now"? It was a simple answer - open our home for people coming to experience what our town and the National Park has to offer.
We renovated the main floor of the house to create an office and two kitchenette single rooms. Lloyde and I moved into the basement and began our new journey of hospitality and accommodation service.

The business grew and we built three more buildings with two units in each - some have a single room and others have two. We grew up eating together as family and know how important that is - we made sure to have a living and dining area, kitchenette, and bathrooms in each cabin - everything you need to feel at home..away from home.

We now have individual cabins and a motel, but we never forgot where we started - downhome hospitality and comfort, love, and family. We live here on the property, this is our home, when you come here, you are family.
